  • Your face will be cleaned and numbing cream will be applied.

    Blood will then be drawn from your arm. The plasma will be separated from the blood cells using a centrifuge machine.

    Your plasma will then be microneedled into your face. Before and after photos will be taken.

  • 24 hours.

    After a Vampire facial, your skin may be red and there may be some slight bleeding.

    You will not be able to wash or touch your face for 24 hours following the treatment.

    You will also need to stay out of direct sunlight.

  • If any of the following apply to you, unfortunately you are not a suitable candidate for this treatment:

    Pregnant or breastfeeding.

    Under the age of 18.

    Blood diseases (haemophilia, leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma).

    Bleeding disorders or anticoagulant use.

    Allergy to lidocaine (topical anaesthetic).

    HIV positive.

    HEP B positive.

    Acquired platelet dysfunction.

    Thrombocytopenia.

  • Pre-care instructions:

    Avoid topical Retinol creams, exfoliants and peels for 1 week prior.

    Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours prior.

    Avoid unprotected sun exposure and sun beds 1 week prior.

    Avoid aspirin or ibuprofen 48 hours prior.

    On the day instructions:

    Arrive without any foundation on your face.

    You may take paracetamol 1 hour prior, if you wish.

  • Please ensure the following aftercare instructions are followed for optimal results and to avoid adverse reactions:

    Do not wash your face for 24 hours. Thereafter use a mild cleanser for 2 weeks. Avoid any harsh or medical grade products.

    Avoid strenuous exercise/the gym/sweat for 48 hours.

    Do not apply make up for 48 hours.

    Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol and caffeine for 48 hours.

    Avoid hot steamy showers or baths for 48 hours.

    Avoid saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools and Jacuzzi’s for 48 hours.

    Ensure you have changed your pillowcase and use a fresh clean one after your treatment.

    Only use a clean towel/washcloth on the area.

    Avoid any product getting onto the area for 48 hours (ie: toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner).

    Avoid using any active skincare ingredients (AHA’s BHA’s Retinols) for 2 weeks after your treatment.

    Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen for 48 hours. You may take paracetamol if you wish.

    Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser resurfacing or dermaplaning for 2 weeks.

    Do not use ice as this will interfere with the natural inflammatory process needed for skin rejuvenation.

    Avoid UV exposure/sun beds, for 2 weeks. Going forward, ensure you wear SPF 30-50 daily.

Side effects are determined by lifestyle, adhering to after-care instructions and individual response to the treatment.
